As a huge fan of both soccer and photography, I was stoked when I got home yesterday and saw this book waiting for me. The book is called “A Beautiful Game: The World’s Greatest Players and How Soccer Changed Their Lives” and is by Tom Watt. I was lucky enough to be sent an advanced copy and the book is pretty amazing. Featuring photography of soccer from around the world as well as some personal insight from some of the world’s biggest stars. It’s a visually beautiful book and has some very compelling stories from the player’s themselves. This book further illustrates the global reach of our sport and the passion that both fans and players have for the beautiful game. Keep an eye out for this book to be released May 4, 2010.
