Diego Forlan scores the lone goal in the Europa League first leg semi-final against Liverpool. The return leg at Anfield should prove to be a great game with a spot in the finals on the line.
In an announcement that really is no surprise, David Beckham tops Forbes’ list of the top earning soccer players. Bringing in an estimated $40 million large sees Becks remain a top the list, most likely for the last time. Missing out on the World Cup should see Becks missing out on lucrative sponsorship deals so expect to see a new player top this list next year.

Pedro gets Barcelona off to a good start, but Inter comes back strong and gets a 3-1 win in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals. After looking unbeatable recently, Barcelona have a lot to do in the return leg.
Arsenal squander a two goal lead and give up three goals in the final 21 minutes away at Wigan and end up losing 3-2. It was definitely an exciting finish, but Wenger and Arsenal have some questions to ask of themselves after this one.
This is definitely one of the better goals I have seen in a very long time. Maicon does absolutely everything right and ends up scoring what has to be one of the goals of the season. Inter Milan went on to win this game against Juventus and have now returned to the top of the Serie A.
Although we just released the new BPFC Crest stickers, I got this picture sent to me today showing an old sticker we did. This sticker looks liek it’s seen better days, but I think that gives it a bit of character as well.

As previously mentioned, Banksy has been in Los Angeles and has been busy with the premier of his film, as well as making sure he dots the LA landscape with some of his work. This latest Banksy original surfaced in downtown Los Angeles yesterday, so I stopped by the new location to see it first hand. After seeing both of these in person, it really got me thinking about how he chooses locations and if the location dictates the art, or if he already has an idea of what he wants to do and the location is chosen based upon his concepts. It’s also pretty amazing to see these up close and realize the detail he puts into something that he probably only has a few minutes to get up. Oh yeah, and the security guard and dog he did over on La Brea…someone cut a hole in the wall and stole the entire thing!

Stickers represent a little slice of my childhood. I had everything covered in stickers. Whether the stickers represented brands I supported, cartoon imagery, superheroes or some sort of statement that I was down with, stickers became a visual statement of what I was into.
